Temple Emanu-El of Edison, New Jersey is one of eight Reform synagogues participating in Greening Reform Judaism, a pilot environmental program co-sponsored by Greenfaith and the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ). This community-wide interfaith project has three main components:

A warm, vibrant, and haimish Reform congregation located in Edison, New Jersey, Temple Emanu-El was founded in 1961 and has long history of involvement in social action issues.
